Meet the Team
Tim Childers, Owner/Lead Mechanic/Transmission Rebuilder
Tim has worked in the transmission industry for over 30 years. At age 15, his Uncle hired him to work in his own Transmission Shop. He started as a simple porter and slowly worked his way up. At age 23, he was given the opportunity to rebuild transmissions full time. Since then he's worked at few different shops slowly moving his way up the ladder. Tim opened Real World Automotive in 2022 and we've been thriving since!
