Robert and his team worked to correct an issue with my Ford truck. I was convinced I had a transmission problem, they followed the diagnostic codes and discovered I had bad ignition coil packs instead. They replaced the coil packs and my truck is running great now.

I work out of town and my water pump went. They were friendly and upfront with me. They gave me a ride back to my hotel and picked me up when the work was completed. Through out the process I got numerous emails updating my cars status. I would definitely recommend them.

So thankful to have been referred to Robert after being told by another repair shop that I would need a new transmission. Robert immediately answered my call, diagnosed my problem very quickly and was able to do minor work on my vehicle and get me back on the road. Robert was GREAT! My son has a 2009 Subaru WRX that was starting to have problems, after calling around a few places, we were pointed to RK Trans. We decided to drop it off after hours, and Robert and Lorraine pulled up, as they were in the area and invited us in and took down all our information. While having the transmission replaced, Robert updated me frequently and was extremely reasonable and thorough, it felt like family. When I went to pick the car up, Robert reviewed with me, my old transmission parts and was very helpful and patient answering all my questions! After purchasing a used 2002 Lexus SC430 sport coupe (with 113,000 miles) from my brother, I discovered numerous problems with the car. I took it to another highly regarded auto repair shop in Raleigh who gave it a thorough diagnostic and fixed the most necessary items. I subsequently noticed a transmission fluid leak and a whining when the automatic transmission was shifting. I was in a bind. My car was stuck in neutral and I had a trip coming up the next day. I called three other shops and they all said "not today". Called Robert and told him my dilemma.
