Raleigh Auto Repair

We went to RK Trans and Auto Repair for a pre-purchase inspection. We could not have been happier! First, they were really great in helping our wait be very comfortable. They dropped us off at a Burger King to wait in a more comfortable place (although their waiting room is very spacious), and picked us up after the job was done. They were ready for us right at the appointment time, and were very quick in completing the inspection. This is the best inspection I've ever had. The mechanic was very thorough. He even took pictures of some of the problems and sent them to my phone. He was able to find anything that could be wrong with the car. He then told us what was a big deal and which wasn't. He told us what would need to be repaired and when each item should be fixed. Plus, the inspection wasn't expensive at all. The actual storefront was a little hard to find since the outside said Pat's Auto (apparently two mechanics share the same spot), and the parking is slightly limited, but not too bad. Overall, amazing experience. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

These are truly honest, wonderful people to deal with! I was having issues with my Hyundai Sonata and I took it to Rob and he was extremely honest about what did and did not need to be done. I would definitely recommend Rob and his team if you are looking for a mechanic that does great work and deals with his clients with integrity.

I recently had some car trouble and found out it was my transmission. Rob at RK Trans Auto Repair went above and beyond to answer any and all questions I had regarding the issue with my car and what he could do to help me. I got estimates at my regular mechanic in Durham and an estimate from Rob since I work in Raleigh. My regular mechanic does not specialize in transmission work but they were able to replace it for me. Rob quoted me a price about $1,000 less than what they were charging to rebuild my transmission instead of just replacing it. After driving it around now for several weeks I have been nothing but pleased. I even took my car back for a tune up about a week or so later because i had such a good experience with the transmission work. I feel 100% confident that I can contact Rob with any help or questions if I need to in the future. I am currently 7 months pregnant and he really made both myself and my husband feel at ease with the already stressful situation. I would recommend him to anyone. Keep up the good work RK Trans & Auto!!!!

Rob and Lorraine are great to work with, and I have been very satisfied with the service. They will go out of their way to make sure your vehicle's service needs are met in a prompt and courteous manner. As a single woman I am happy to have found a team that I can trust to take care of my car. The prices are reasonable, and it's a great place for an oil change as well as a repair need. I would highly recommend RK Trans!

Polite service with fast results. I needed my truck for work but started having some transmission issues making it difficult for me to get to my job sites. Rob and his crew did great work for a fair price. Thank you guys!
